Drone show for ITER at IBF25

Create an unforgettable moment
“We want to leave a mark”
It was with this sentence that our wonderful collaboration with CEA-Agence ITER France began.
Its aim: to make an impression and honor its contributors with a symbolic drone show, reflecting the project.
A strong message, driven by the desire to bring together science, emotion and recognition in a unique celestial setting.
ITER: the world's largest scientific project in the spotlight
Reproducing the Sun's energy on Earth
ITER is certainly the largest scientific program in the world.
Its objective: to draw inspiration from the functioning of stars to produce clean, safe and inexhaustible energy. This large-scale project aims to control the nuclear fusion, by reproducing the reactions at work in the heart of the Sun to offer a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. A large-scale program bringing together 35 countries across the world, and whose immense construction site is located in Saint Paul-lez-Durance (Bouches-du-Rhône).
This major scientific challenge embodies both international cooperation and innovation in the service of the planet.
The IBF25 forum in Marseille
From April 23rd to 25th, the Marseille Convention Center—in Chanot Park—hosted the ITER Business Forum. An international trade show that brings together, every two years, all the players in the fusion industry.
It was on this occasion that Allumee was approached as a company that creates innovative shows. Watch the video of the event here: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7328811429803769857
The mission: to design a strong, artistic and unifying moment to celebrate the progress of the sector, while reflecting the values upheld by ITER.
An eco-responsible show, reflecting the ITER project
A light show of 500 drones designed by Allumee
Echoing the theme, the Allumee artistic team, together with the CEA-Agence ITER France, created a tailor-made sound and light show for the project.
With, at the beginning, the galaxy, then the appearance of the Sun; the formation of plasma in the tokamak; a visualization of the ITER member countries on the globe; as well as the “ITER” and “IBF/25” logos.
A poetic and technological unfolding, illustrating the journey from the idea to the realization of a new energy era.
A memorable event for the forum participants
On the evening of April 23, 700 people looked up to the sky to discover this aerial display of 500 drones, given in their honor.
For 10 minutes, the Marseille sky was transformed to reveal the scenography designed by our artists.
A very emotional moment for all those working for this new source of energy.
